Yes, you can save a flipbook you create in the applications developed for this process. Most of the applications will also offer the possibility to export. If you choose export, then the flipbook won't be available for later editing. Simply go to File > Save and choose the default saving file format. You can close the software and open it at a later time when someone needs it.
