Why do WDSmartware.exe and WDBackupEngine.exe use virtually all CPU capacity and slow all other processes?
This shouldn't happen at all. These are simple applications used to manage, backup, and restore data on WD drives. Try to reinstall them or use an updated version because this could be a bug.
