The ZTE Director is an Android phone. At first check the APN. Go to Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Network > APN (Access Point Name). If there is no access point configured, then you have to contact your carrier to provide those settings to you. In case you have multiple items in the list, tap on the one which corresponds to your carrier and reboot the phone. Enable Data Connection and the Internet should start working based on your subscription/plan.
