How can someone send me a message through Viber? Can it be that half of a message comes through someone else's number?

This is actually not possible but since you encounter it, make sure that your numbers and contacts have unique numbers assigned. This means that you should check the contacts added to your phone because it's possible that one number belongs to multiple contacts. This way every time you receive a message, it will appear on both contacts or the message will be divided.
