When I'm trying to install the printer to a new notebook on a wireless LAN I get the message 'Printer driver in use' and it fails to install. I managed to get the printer working but then a document wouldn't print (ink cartridges are OK, no problem detected on the troubleshooter). I removed the printer via the Control Panel and restarted the computer but encountered the same problems when installing the printer.

There isn't a problem with the printer but with the driver itself. Remove the driver from the Device Manager and then install it again and it will work. It seems to be a conflict between the drivers. Remove the old one and install the new one and it should work normally.
