How to update my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1?

Windows 8.1 is available freely for people who purchased Windows 8. This means that you can upgrade your OS from the Windows Updates page. Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel. Navigate to Windows Update and check for updates. If you have Windows 8, the upgrade will be offered through the Windows Update. Alternatively, check the official page of Microsoft Windows 8.1 Upgrade advisor.
