Since this service IntcAzAudAddService was added, together with hdxpcee4.infamd64bf8f9cd28f83ba04\hdxpcee4.inf during update from Windows 8 to 8.1, the microphone function doesn't work well any more:

  1. Sensitivity significantly too low
  2. Echo in the noise, static sound
  3. Same problem with microphone as with headset.

If the driver is not working well , then I suggest you to remove it as soon as possible to prevent damaging the hardware. Alternatively, use the support CD for your motherboard/sound card and install the original driver even if it's not compatible with Windows 8.1. It's known that in some cases, the old drivers are more reliable than the updated ones.
