Problems with SimplePass 2012.

Question

Both my husband and I bought an HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx Entertainment PC and we had it set up so we could either use our fingerprint or a password or code to login. The password part is still working but on both PC's the fingerprint part quit working. I have tried to update the program from the top where it says check for updates but nothing happened. How can we get the fingerprint part to work again in case we want to go back to signing in that way?

In order to fix this problem, you can try to download and install again the driver for the fingerprint sensor. To do that, you need to visit the following official website, choose the operating system that you are currently using, go under the Keyboard, Mouse and Input Device category and download the driver for your Fingerprint sensor. After you installed the driver, you need to reboot the PC and you should be able to use the HP SimplePass again to its full capabilities.
