How do I backup and restore a configuration for Powercon 4.3?

Question

When I create a default location and areas for my powercon setup I'd like to save that configuration and restore in simply in case when I'm editing I screw something up.

I've tried both the System->Database Backup and System->Configuration Make default and restore default.

Neither of those options seem to do anything at all. I've read and re-read the user manual and tried the options but I can't seem to find out how to do it.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

That is the only way to create backups of your system. If the function does not work, try reinstalling this application. Many issues can be fixed this way, including the one you're experiencing.

An alternative way is to copy the entire folder with contents to another place and then restore it to its original location if something goes wrong.

Could you tell me exactly what is saved to the database? Is it the tree with the location, areas, etc? What folder are you referring to when you say copy the entire folder?
