If the application is not compatible with your operating system, I recommend you to use the Compatibility Mode in order to run the program. Right-click on the software icon, select Properties and go to Compatibility tab. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select a compatible operating system from the drop-down list. Click Apply and OK.
