The problem is with the Speaker settings. While calling, pull the phone from your ear and use the on-screen menus to disable the Speaker. This will automatically activate the earpiece sound. This is a setting that's found in 99 % of the phones (smart ones or not). If you can't change the speaker setting, the phone might need repairing at a local phone service shop.
