I receive the following error: "IP Camera Super Client (PnP) (application failed to initialize OX0000142)".

I installed app-jkp2p-oem.exe and it ran but then locked up and then it only gets the error: "IP Camera Super Client (PnP) application failed to initialize OX0000142". How do I repair this problem?

There is a simple fix to this error. It is caused by corrupted files in the Windows directory and since those files belong to the system's functionality, you can fix them using Start > RUN > cmd > then type sfc /scannow. You might need to have a Windows installation disk in order to restore the original files to their state.

Hi: I followed your directions and ofcourse XP wanted the original disk. It took about 20 minutes to complete. When it ended it never gave information if it replaced files. So far the problem is gone. So that deserves a THANK YOU dwdw
