Can't update Internet Explorer while being offline.

I have downloaded an update for Internet Explorer from Software Informer but I can't install it. I receive this message: "A more recent version of Internet Explorer is already installed".

This means that the update you downloaded is not needed by Internet Explorer since you already have a newer version installed than the update package you want to install. You don't have to worry at all since the newer update you have also includes the changes/fixes of the version you tried to install.

To find out the version of your Internet Explorer browser, open it and click on the Help tab, then click on About Internet Explorer.
