The firmware can't be deleted by pressing some buttons. However, have the possibility to restore it to factory defaults using Recovery mode.
To enter recovery mode, turn off the phone then press: Volume Up + Home button + Power button. Once in recovery mode, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset and confirm it with Power button.
