Since there is no information about USB digital microscope compatibility with Windows 2000 platforms, I suggest you test it by yourself. Use Google search engine to find and download the driver, plug your device to your computer using the USB cable and install the utility following the self explained steps. If the device is not recognized by your PC, right-click the My Computer icon, select Manage and open Device Manager. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your computer, connect the microscope and press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager.
