Unfortunately, the Generations Deluxe Edition - Family Tree Software has been developed to run only on Windows 95 and Windows 98 platforms. You can try running on your computer using the Compatibility Mode. Right-click on the program icon, select Properties and navigate to the compatibility tab. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode box and select Windows 98 or Windows 95 from the list. Also, you can try configuring Program Compatibility Wizard. If it doesn't work, you can't purchase a newer version because the application has been discontinued and it is no longer supported.
