Do you recommend Blu-Ray DVD players?

I have to buy a new DVD player since my old one is not working anymore. I think it's not a good idea to buy an ordinary DVD player, since Blue-Ray DVD players came out. What do you recommend?

I recommend you purchase a Blu-Ray DVD player because it can play high-definition videos/movies formats (1080p). Also, many Blu-Ray disc players can play regular DVDs while ordinary DVD players are not able to play Blu-Ray discs. Furthermore, there isn't a big differences between the prices. You can find an online store using Google search engine.
