In order to fix your browser application, you can go to Menu > Settings > Applications > All tab and tap on the Browser application and select Clear Cache and Clear Data. After you did this, try starting the browser again. If you still can't use it, I suggest using the Android Informer database in order to find a replacement for your browser application. There are plenty of alternatives that you can use.
