Outlook problem.

I can't start Microsoft Office Outlook. I can't open the Outlook window, a set of folders can't be opened and the file C:\Document and Setting\abc\Local Setting\Application data\Microsoft\Outlook.pst can't be accessed due to a data error (cyclic redundancy check). What can I do?

The developers are aware of this problem. It usually comes up after the program got synchronized and some data, for example, emails, was downloaded into your computer. The cause of this problem is a corrupted PST file. To fix it, you can perform a scan of your hard disk for errors. To do this, try going to Start, type cmd in the search bar and press Enter. It is possible that the Administrator password is required. In the command prompt type chkdsk /f and press Enter. After the ChkDsk is finished, close the command prompt and start your Outlook.
