I have a UMX Android Tracfone and this works
1. Turn off the phone and then press Volume UP + Power until the Android logo appears. Once you are in the Recovery, select Wipe data/Factory reset. Reboot the phone and you should have access to the phone's functionality.
2. Use your volume +/- button to navigate
3. Use your the power button as the Enter button
