You can also try to uninstall all the USB drivers in order to install them again. To do that, right click on My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager. Right click on every entry in Universal Serial Bus (USB) controller and choose Uninstall. After you did this, reboot your computer and try to connect your device again.
