I have a Dell Inspiron 15 i5 with Windows 8 and I want to connect my Samsung Galaxy i500 via USB cable but my system doesn't recognize it. I receive a message regarding the USB 2.0 port. Can you help?

In order to fix the issue, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, look for the entry that contain the Enhanced word, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your PC, connect the Samsung device, press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager and wait for Windows to retrieve the driver. If you still have issues, try running the Fix It utility provided by Microsoft and check the official troubleshooting guides.
