An error keeps appearing about this product.

I have McAfee Security installed on my Windows XP computer and I've begun getting messages that say McAfee Telemetry Service was forced to close and if I want to send an error report to Microsoft. I send the error reports each time. What is McAfee Telemetry Service? Is there a way to stop this error message from appearing?

This product is a part of the McAfee ePO (McAfee Product Improvement Program) service. This is an application that will provide information to the developer which is used to improve the McAfee products and it's also used by Technical Support for troubleshooting. You can try to update the program's version to the latest one. This might fix the problem. If not, try to contact the developer for further support. This problem has been discussed on the following forum, but a solution wasn't found.
