In order to fix the issue, I suggest you download the application from an official source. After that, install, register and sync your device using the instructions provided by the developer. If you have issues installing the software and you're using Windows XP or below, update Windows Installer using the package from the official web page. If you're using Windows Vista or above, update it through Windows Update.
