No, you can't install any firmware at all if the tablet is dead. However, most tablets allow you to boot only in Download mode. While the tablet is turned off and connected to AC, press Volume Down + Power button. This setting should place the tablet into Download mode. Once you are in that mode, use the tools you have for the tablet to write the firmware again.
Notice that this is a risky method and it could brick the tablet forever.
