Text block search operation.

Question

Is there a program that will search a text block for a word or number located on your computer and then display that block or blocks from which you can choose from?

For example, it would be like searching for a JPEG file and being able to see a preview or thumbnail of all the JPEGs. I want to be able to search my computer for a number or text and every text block that it's located on my hard drive.

This function is called find in files and you can use Notepad++. Download and install Notepad++ then start it from the desktop. Press Ctrl+F and activate Find in files tab. Input the text block, select the directory where the module will begin the scanning and wait for results. The application will search entire directory selected and display the exact location of the text.
