If your application is compatible with Windows XP, you can try to download and install Windows XP Mode and install the application in this environment. Windows XP Mode makes it easy to install and run many applications compatible with Windows XP directly on a Windows 7 computer. Also, another solution can be the Compatibility Mode. Right click on the program icon and go to Properties > Compatibility tab. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select a compatible operating system from the drop-down list. Click Apply and then OK.
