You can fix this problem by going to Start and, depending on your OS, you need to open Run service from Windows. If you are using Windows XP, you can find it in the right side of the menu. For Windows 7 and above, just type Run in the search bar. After you opened it, type regedit
and hit Enter. In the appeared window you need to go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ explorer
. To fix your problem, you need to delete the DriveIcons entry and restart your computer.
