The first thing to do is to start the application. You can use its icon from your desktop or from Start > All programs. Once it's started, you will see a little alien head in the system tray. Right click it and choose Enabled AlienFX Editor. Then right click it again and start the application. Choose between Basic mode (display static colors) or Advanced mode (display colors based on events).
