VDraw has been designed and implemented in the way very similar to CorelDraw and most of the features that you found in CorelDraw can be found in VDraw.
You can add a rectangle over the objects that you want to fade out and fill it with white colour or any other colour. Apply transperancy with desired percentage (Make sure to place the rectangle over all the objects on the layer to be faded).
