The 495 error could have multiple causes and it's usually influenced by the network connections. Use the indications below to see where the problem might come from:
Go to Settings > Applications manager > All > Google Play Store and Google Play Services. Tap on each one of them and then tap again on Clear Data and Clear Cache.
Remove the account from Settings > Accounts > Google and add another one.
Switch the network connection to Data or WiFi, depending on what you currently use. If the Play Store can't connect to the Internet, then this might be the cause to the error as well.
