What does this program do and what is it for? Using a smart phone, no computer.

This application is used to simulate a software and its behavior in Android phones. Application Stubs can test the whole range of functions before deploying and building the main application. If you don't use it, you can remove the app via Application Manager.

And also how do I know if its currently being used or not..I never see it running when I check my battery. I'd like to see what it does and if its useful to my phone. There must be a reason why Microsoft put it on there as well as many other phone companies. I have a moto g phone and I use boost. Thanks

I think its a program that people used to build applications for phones so primarily you can enter code to do things to see if it works for an Android phone and when it does you create the app but don't take my word for it I'm assuming hereand to answer the question of where is it how do you operate it and all that other fun stuff I don't know I tried I don't know where it is

None of this answers the question asked. Sounds like no one knows what it is really for. When I bought my phone about two years ago, this app was never on the phone and I noticed it showing in my download app settings and wondered how it was automatically put in there since I never downloaded it. I assume when the Android OS was upgraded that the app was added then.

My main question is, will it mess the phone up if I uninstall it?? I need to make more room on my phone as I cannot download any apps I need to use as the upgrades for the permanent apps included with phone takes up so much space already.

None of this solves the question stated. Sounds like no one knows what it is truly for. When I acquired my phone approximately two years ago, this app was never on the phone and I saw it displaying in my download app settings and puzzled how it was automatically placed in there because I never downloaded it. I suppose when the Android OS was updated that the app was installed then.
