When I try to play a video in Windows Media Player, all I get is voice and black screen. What's the problem? My graphic card is Radeon HD 6400 series.
The problem is that you're missing a video codec. As Windows Media Player lacks codecs for known video formats, you need to install some codecs before you play the files. Combined Community Codec Pack is more than enough to play all known video files. Download and install the package and perform extra configuration, if you have the knowledge else you can use the default method. Close and restart Windows Media Player then you can watch your video files.
You need to install some codecs before you play the files. Why not using VLC or other media player, they are all free. You can try other player. I have used VLC and now using Macgo Blu-ray Player. They both work well for me. You can download here: http://download.cnet.com/Macgo-Windows-Blu-ray-Player/3000-13632_4-75453680.html
