HP MediaSmart Web Cam for Mac

My husband has an HP PC (w/Windows7) and has HP MediaSmart web cam. Is there any way to download this software to my MacBook Pro, or do I need the actual HP hardware? I would like to use the features he has on my Skype. Thanks (please forgive me if this sounds like a dumb question. I'm not very computer savvy.)

Here's the software you can install on your Mac so you can use the MediaSmart web cam

The features should be very similar to those in the PC version.
