How can I download Xperia link on my PC?

I have a Sony Xperia mobile phone and it has Xperia Link software. I want to use the Internet on my PC by using the phone as a modem. My OS is Windows 7. How can I get the Xperia Link to my computer?

The version you are trying to install (1.0.1.10180) does not support Windows 7 OS. You will need to download version 1.1.2.08070 as it has support for Windows 7. Make sure you run the application as administrator.

i have downloaded 1.1.2.08070 and installed.. but its not opening ... i tried to run as administrator also. no window is opening. what to do

i have downloaded both Xperia Link version (1.0.1.10180) and (1.1.2.08070). i have installed it to my PC, but it doesn't open in my PC, when I click it nothing happens, PLS help with this

I followed the link and installed but the program won't load up, i tried as administrator but it still wouldn't load up.

The timer spins once then nothing happens.

keep in mind that your pc has bluetooth connection

Xperia Link would only work on a Sony Vaio or Sony Tablet if you are trying to load it on a Vaio or Tablet check the compatibility list on the same page you obtained the Program from

If you want your xperia as a modem, you can try using Tethering & Portable hotspot and choose Portable Wifi Hotspot on your xperia mobile phone. I never install xperia link app to my pc but Internet still working with using my sony xperia as a wifi hotspot...

Maybe it is true that this application works on PC that has Bluetooth connection. My Win 7 does not have one and, so, I could never run the program. Someone made it clear that if the purpose is to use the mobile data on PC, then Tethering and WiFi Hotspot are the best alternative. Ignore Xperia Link ...

My PC has a Bluetooth Connection still Xperia Link is not opening. Xperia Link is compatible only with Sony Laptops. I've checked it on my Sony Vaio Laptop and it is working fine on that.
