Why does the screen pop up all the time when Mac Informer is checking updates? Can't it do it in the background and only come up when you've asked it to notify you? Like say, once a week notifications are set in settings. Thanks.

Hello.

Are you saying that Mac Informer shows its window on your desktop each time it's checking for updates? It isn't programmed to behave that way. Please try installing the new version and see if it does the same.

If you're referring to the fact that Mac Informer shows up on system startup (meaning that it doesn't start minimised), this will be fixed in one of the next minor updates.

Thanks for your response! I followed your advice and installed the new version. It worked and I'm not getting the screen pop ups anymore.
