The program doesn't work properly.

When I connect my scanner to the computer, Bildinsamling starts, but immediately says it couldn't open a session. When I try with my wife's MacBook Pro or my daughter's MacBook there's no problem. I need to reinstall Bildinsamling, but can't find it anywhere. Can you help me?

According to Wikipedia, the latest version of the product was released in 2010. Due to this and the fact that there is no other information about it or its developer, Bildinsamling might be discontinued. If this is the case, you won't be able to download it anymore. In this case, restore your Mac to a previous version in which the product was working. If you can't do this, use the Mac Informer's database to find a similar application that you can use.
