I gave full access to my husband to my computer for about 2 months. We are now going through a divorce and I have locked my computer so he can not use it.

However, I've found that he has placed "key chain" or "encrypted" passwords on many areas of my computer and claims he hasn't. How do I unlock these areas? How can I get into my own computer areas that he has locked me out of?

You might need to reset the access to the key chain, before you can access other parts of the computer.

You need to access Keychain Access from the Utilities folder. From the KeyChain Menu select Preferences and General and Reset My Default Keychain. Enter the data from your login account and then restart the computer. You will then have access to other parts of the computer.
