Why isn't my video displayed correctly in full screen mode?

I selected the 720X480 video format on the welcome menu when I first started DVDstyler. Also, I set the aspect ration to 4:3. The margins don't come out long in widescreen like they do when I use fullscreen. I need to properly set up the program. How can I do this?
