Can anyone help me with my question? I am simulating a window system with light shelf shading device. Light shelves have specular upper surface and reflect the light inside the building. The specularity and reflectivity can be defined in the radiance part. My questions are:

1) Does IES consider the solar heat gain (in the cooling load) of reflected sunlight inside the building?
2) Does IES calculate the impact of reflected sunlight in both daylight and cooling load inside the room?

According to the official description, the software is capable of taking heat gain and calculating the reflected sunlight. In fact, this application is used for all the projects in this category. The only information about it except contact details and trial.

To find more information about it, access the official website: http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/tools_directory/software.cfm/ID=615/pagename=alpha_list_sub
