I would like to know if Graphite 8 can save files in Graphite 7 too.

I would like to know if Graphite 8 can save files in Graphite 7. So that they can be opened again by some computer with Graphite 7 installed. Is this possible?

Yes. Version 8 of Graphite program has this feature. You can use the newer version of the program to export your drawings into a format that can be opened by an older version of Graphite. The export function of the program has lots of options. You can check the User Manual to learn more about this.
