Can I rip a PAL DVD to an AVI file?

I have a DVD that was sent to me from Europe and it's in the PAL format. I would like to know whether your program can convert it (it's a 7.2GB VIDEO_TS file) to a (preferably) single AVI file?

With this software, you can convert the PAL DVD file format into almost any other format. You can't convert it directly to AVI but you can try converting it to MPEG1/2/4 first and then to AVI. This is a very powerful tool because of many input and output file formats supported.
