I am using a MacBook Air. I am trying to create a spreadsheet that I can use for my accountant. I need to record hours worked by various employees at various rates. I have never created one before so I know enough to be dangerous. Will this work with Mac and if so will it walk me through building what I need? I should have done this project weeks ago so now I have zero time to mess around.

Yes, this software is exactly what you need to get started and it will guide you by offering various information based on what you choose to create. The problem rises in compatibility. The software is available only for Windows PCs. This means that Mac is out of the question. However, before starting to use it, make sure to read the forums on the official website. It's a great way to find information on how to make it work efficiently and accurate.

As for the compatibility problem, install Windows through Bootcamp in your Mac, and then install Simatic WinCC.
