I've just downloaded this to try to unlock my DVD-ROM drive tray. I don't even know what this program can do. What is it anyway?

This application will do more harm than good. Actually, the application should display all the devices and their condition. The condition can be locked or unlocked but to unlock it you will have to use Acer eLock Management. I advise you to remove it and clear your BIOS Settings.
