If the DVD is corrupted, yes, you will need to acquire a new one from the developer web page. If not, try to run the Fix it utility developed by Microsoft. It will diagnose and repair all major CD or DVD drive issues. If it doesn't help, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and open the utility. Expand the Disk drives list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot the PC and press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager. Windows will automatically find and install the latest available drivers. If the DVD is still not accepted, go to Start, type regedit and open the utility.
