Problems opening a PNG file with transparent background.

I have CreataCard Gold 3 and I'm using it on Windows 7 (Virtual XP). When I try to use a .png with transparent background, the background comes in white. I know that it is transparent because I used the file in other programs. Is there a way to use the file or should I upgrade the program to a different version that will allow me use all the cards I've made and saved?

Unfortunately, American Greetings CreataCard Gold 3 doesn't support files with transparent background and it will recognize the background as a white field. Also, you need to know that you can't upgrade the program anymore because it has been discontinued and it is no longer supported by its developers. I suggest you contact Broderbund for further information.
