Question

I'm getting a PTMWREST1.DLL file error:

File PTMWREST1.DLL
Version 0.0.0.0
Expected 1.0
Flags 0008_0000

When this problem occurred the program appeared in the taskbar, but no window opened when I clicked its icon. I tried installing the program in a new folder but when I tried opening the data file the window disappeared. I have a Windows XP SP 3 computer. What can I do?

In order to fix the issue, completely uninstall the program using its uninstaller or Add or Remove Program feature (Control Panel > Uninstall a program), run a registry cleaner to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system and reinstall the software. If it doesn't help, download and run Dll-Files Fixer which is developed to solve all major .dll related problems.
