In order to change the language of the game, you need to have it installed on the computer first. To begin the process, go to Start > Run > regedit and press Enter. Then, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ EA GAMES \ The Sims 2 \ 1.0 (this is your game's version and can differ). From the right side window, double click on Language and change its value to 16. This is the value for Russian language. The value for English language is 1 (by default).
