SpecTRACK is running very slow.

I am having problems with the SpecTRACK. All the techs that are using this program are complaining how slow it is at receiving the specimens. There is a lag time after the initial scan of the barcode. So the techs would have to stand and wait until SpecTRACK recognizes it before they can scan the next specimen. This isn't a problem when it comes to a few specimens, but when you try to specTRACK 3 - 4 racks, it gets very frustrating. Is there a way to speed up the process?

No. There isn't a method that you can use to speed up the recognizing process. The program doesn't 'lag' after the barcode is scanned; the program works with the received data to come up with a response. Unfortunately, there is no way to speed up the process because it is limited by the computer's hardware.
