Have just downloaded the latest version for Windows 7 64bit, but the only printer I can use this software with is Canon 9500. I would like to use my Canon 8500. How can I do this?
The problem with compatibility is related to the update of the application. Install the latest version of the software and you printer will be detected. However, you might need to update the drivers for the printer as well. You can do this from the Canon Support website. Visit the website and look for "Canon 9500" then identify your model and click on Drivers and software. Select your operating system and download the drivers from the Drivers category.
